Ukash is No More
In the dynamic and fast evolving world of online payment services, there have been some notable mergers and acquisitions that have somewhat changed the landscape and affected the choices available to online casino players.
Ukash was a prepaid card company founded in 2005 and provided valuable alternative to casino players who wanted to avoid making deposits directly from their bank accounts and make secure payments for casino play and other services. Ukash grew to one of the most popular digital payment methods in the world.
Ukash was purchased by popular online payment giant, Skrill back in 2015 and shortly afterwards Skrill merged with the Paysafe Group. The Paysafe Group then housed the three biggest brand names in digital payments under one roof, that’s Skrill, Neteller and PaysafeCard. The Ukash brand was dissolved and services merged with PaysafeCard. Online casino players looking for the services formerly provided by Ukash can now choose between PaysafeCard or one of it’s sister companies to acquire similar high level services in this fast paced, ever changing market place.
